About TELEVIE
Founded in December 1988 by Prof. Arsène Burny, TELEVIE is Belgium's largest fundraising programme for oncological research. The first TELEVIE programme aired in April 1989 on RTL Belgium.
Over 35+ years, TELEVIE has raised over €266M and funded 3,043 researchers and 2,939 projects through FNRS Belgium.
The childhood leukaemia cure rate has risen from 40% in the 1970s to 92% today — a direct result of research supported by Belgian solidarity.
